‘Octomom’ Nadya Suleman’s Daughters Look So Grown Up in New Photo

They’re getting so tall! Nadya Suleman, widely recognized as “Octomom,” posted a new photo of her daughters Nariyah and Maliyah on April 14 and fans can’t believe how grown up they look in the portrait. The mother of 14 opened up about how she and the kids are doing amid the quarantine, revealing they’re just trying to “hang in there.”

“Despite feeling frustrated over circumstances out of your control (like Nariyah, mad that Maliyah copied her lol). In life, control what you can, and let go of what you cannot,” she captioned the pic, showing the girls, both 11, hanging from a tree branch together.

“Your children are so absolutely gorgeous [and] glad you’re raising kind souls,” one of the fitness fanatic’s followers commented. “They’re beautiful young ladies,” another chimed in. “Babies are growing up beautifully,” a third wrote.

The self-described ethical vegan — who also goes by the name Natalie Solomon/Suleman — became a household name after welcoming a set of octuplets back in 2009. She had already conceived six other children through IVF by that time. Fast forward to now and Nadya, 44, continues to share updates about her kids and personal growth on social media.

“In recent years, as I take back my narrative that was stolen from me, I have chosen to share the TRUTH about the real me, a MOM,” she captioned a post on March 1. “In psychology, people see things not as they truly are, but rather, as they are. We project our experiences, our perspectives, our values, beliefs etc. onto people we don’t even know.”

The star has been making health a top priority amid the lockdown, ensuring that her kids have plenty of fruits, vegetables and quality protein. Nadya recently shared photos of her workouts and nutritious meals while social distancing.

“Missing machines and my stair master at the gym, though am grateful I bought this stationary bike for my ‘teens’ months ago! Ironically, it’s Maliyah, Nariyah, Calyssa and I who use the bike consistently,” she wrote on April 12, expressing the importance of staying positive during this uncertain time. “We moms find a way to adapt and remain resilient despite any given circumstance.”

“We moms also lead by example,” she added. “So let’s all fight to stay physically and mentally healthy, influence our children to do the same, and perhaps come out of shelter in place stronger than ever.”
