Chanel West Coast Slams Hater Who Says She’s ‘Too Old’ for TikTok

She has a point! Chanel West Coast took to Instagram to shut down a hater who said TikTok is not for big kids like herself. The 31-year-old put the troll in their place on Sunday, April 19.

“Aren’t you too old for TikTok,” the user commented on the rapper’s voice-over. “We all are,” she responded with a crying laughing emoji.

Fans had her back in the replies, affirming the platform is fun for all ages. “Girl, I hear ya. I joined the other week and I was thinking ‘What am I doing,’ but then I had so much fun,” one follower wrote. Another added, “[I’m] 42 years old and I joined last week. Having a BLAST.”

Making TikTok videos is one of the many ways the Ridiculousness star has occupied her time while social distancing. “During quarantine, I’ve been trying to stay as busy as possible because I am not usually one to sit still easily,” the “Black Roses” singer exclusively told In Touch on April 15. “Staying on the go keeps me sane.”

In an effort to stay motivated, the brunette beauty has turned to a variety of improvement projects. “I almost finished setting up a little home studio during this time, made a little home gym area in my garage, painted some walls in my house, wrote some songs, experimented with makeup tutorials and workout vids on my YouTube and I got really into meditation, too,” she said, listing some of her quarantine activities. “Trying to use this time at home wisely, let’s put it that way.”

During this time of uncertainty, Chanel released a “Corona Rap” to help encourage people to take the coronavirus pandemic seriously and proceed with caution. “I felt the need to spread awareness to say in,” she revealed. “I think we are all ready to get back out and that will only happen if everyone follows the rules already!”

As for her new track, her lyrics read, “Chilling here at home dodging ‘Rona. Social distancing got me feeling like a loner. Scared of even walking to the corner. Sick of people not taking orders. Sit down, stay your ass at home, wash your hands, lock the doors. Sanitize, clean the floors.”
