Caryn Chandler’s Son Connor Has Warrant Out for Arrest, Skips Court

Little People, Big World alum Caryn Chandler’s son Connor Chandler was issued a bench warrant as a result of failing to appear for an August 20 court hearing, In Touch can confirm.

Connor, 21, found himself in legal trouble earlier this year. He was arrested for harassment in Oregon on January 11, In Touch previously confirmed. Connor was released from jail the following day, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The reality TV star’s son allegedly “unlawfully and intentionally [harassed or annoyed]” Caryn by subjecting her to “offensive physical contact,” read the latest court docs obtained by The Sun on Tuesday, August 25.

He was ordered to have “no contact with his mother, her family, codefendants or witnesses,” the site reports, and “not go within 100 feet of Caryn.” Connor pleaded not guilty to both counts of harassment at his January 23 arraignment.

He was supposed to appear in court for a settlement conference, which was set for August 20 after being postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. However, Connor was a no-show, which resulted in the warrant out for his arrest.

Caryn, 52, known for being the longterm girlfriend of TLC fan-favorite Matt Roloff, has rarely posted photos with her son amid his legal woes.

“Blessed [with] my two kids,” she wrote alongside a photo featuring both of her children in May 2019. Back in 2018, Connor posted a candid message on Facebook, opening up about his sobriety battle and past mistakes.

“This is my story about how addiction almost took my life. I was 13 years old when I was first introduced to a drug called Xanax. Biggest mistake of my life was choosing to try it. [Because] after that, I tried it again. Then again. And again. And again,” he wrote, revealing the problems exacerbated by the time he was 15.

“It made [me] forget, not feel, not care, not friendly, not me. Almost killed me, almost killed my relationship with my family, almost destroyed my entire life,” he continued. “I went through eight Inpatient Rehabs, eight outpatient treatment centers, two group homes, 17 times in jail, three warrants, 12 hospital visits for overdose, and four friends’ death from overdose before I finally got myself clean.”

Connor concluded by apologizing to his mother for taking her through “hell and back,” adding, “But just know, it’s over, and that’s never going to change.”
