I wrote about the appeal of an asymmetric hemline earlier this season, but I can’t stop thinking about this Sandy Liang version. It’s a more severe hemline, and more mini skirt than midi, but I really love it. The style must be something of a signature for her as she’s offered a variety of one for a couple of seasons. (This SS17 one marked down at Kirna Zabête.) Retailers are really starting to pick up on this young designer who is also known for her one-of-a-kind oversized outerwear. This New Yorker totally deserves the attention – anyone really does though who forges ahead confidently within their niche of the industry like Liang has done in a few short seasons.
