This weekend I’m Hawaii-bound! We’re taking our little guy on one last trip just the three of us before I can no longer fly and we become a family of four. I’ve been to many tropical locales, but never Hawaii, and it seems to be the destination of choice for mamas-to-be lately. We’re also bringing our families which means built-in babysitters and some date night time for me and husband. My son is fantastic on trips; he’s curious and excited and has been talking about the whales he will see for weeks! (Note to self: book whale sighting trip.) Now, for the wardrobe…luckily I’m still able to get away with a lot of non-maternity items by sizing up, stuff I can wear for the rest of the summer and hopefully beyond. I did purchase my first maternity leggings recently, this pair, that goes over the bump, because let’s be honest, it’s way more comfortable than below. The Tot raves about them and I’m sure they will be on regular rotation as soon as they arrive. I bought this dress in two colorways because when I tried it on at Saks it fit so perfectly. Pregnant or not, this dress would be an excellent staple to anyone’s wardrobe. Vacation clothes are easy to find when you’re pregnant because everything is flowy and roomy and breathable – all requirements when you’re six months along with child. I also bought these sandals and am hoping they will go with everything I pack! I wouldn’t mind the rest of this list below…mmhhh, maybe another trip is in order?
